An amazing children's story...

This is my favorite childhood book and I love to read this book to my students. I love this book because it introduces diversity at a young age.The setting takes place in the Arctic and introduces unfamiliar animals. I remember when I was a small child, I begged my mother to read this story to me over and over again. This book is about an unconditional love a mother shows to her child. I love to read this story in the beginning of the school year so that children have the opportunity to share their relationship with their parents with me. Its a great book to read to small children.

  1. Ohhhhh! Kristina, that is a wonderful book. I should look for it and read it with my little girls. To be honest, i didnt know you could love someone sooooo much until i became pregnant. I loved these kids before i saw them. It is unconditional and that should motivate parents to be involved as much as they can in their childrens' education. I know parents that are sacrificing much for this cause. It is the best investment!
